Large upright orange bloom edged with yellow. Grows 6 to 8 feet tall. Excellent cut flower.
Heliconia ‘Jacquinii’ prefers bright part sun to full sun, a rich well draining soil and plenty of food in the growing season. Will grow and bloom in a pot- but will ultimately need to be a 14″ or larger pot. Can be taken indoors and grown near a sunny window over the winter if need be.
We try to put as much plant material in the box as we can fit. This can include short stems with leaves, and new sprouts. Longer stems will be trimmed to fit.
